Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wandile Dube has sent a strong message to his doubters following his move to the Tshwane giants during the recent transfer window.
The 22-year-old centre-back joined the Brazilians on deadline day as the club bolstered its defensive options ahead of a demanding season with several major competitions.

Although Dube is yet to make his debut for Sundowns, he could get his opportunity as the campaign progresses and head coach Miguel Cardoso rotates his squad.
However, the young defender is unfazed by suggestions that he may struggle for regular game time at the club. Dube insists that he joined Sundowns because he believes in his own abilities and is confident he can earn his place in the team.
“That is not even on my mind because people are like that, they don’t want to believe in people,” Dube said on Prime Time Sports on Ukhozi FM, as translated from Zulu language.
“Having taken this decision, I sat down and thought I mustn’t listen to what people say.
“I thought I was going to be able to get game time because I know myself.
“To the supporters, I’d like to encourage them to continue supporting us and also they must wait expect me to get my chance.
“I will also show why the club brought me, I will show them, I promise to make them happy.”
