Newly promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City are edging closer to completing the signing of Bokang Mokwena.
After gaining automatic promotion to the Premier Division, Durban City started the recruitment process to strengthen their squad with iDiski Times learning that the KwaZulu-Natal-based are on the brink of making their first signing of the season.

Mokwena has been doing well in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. In 2023/24, he scored 12 goals and in the 2024/25 season he scored 11 goals for Upington City.
Should the move be completed, the 24-year-old winger is expected to light up the Betway Premiership which is set to kick off in the second week of August.
Mokwena was also linked with a move to AmaZulu but that deal fell through, opening the door for their newly-promoted KZN neighbours.
