Newly promoted Betway Premiership side Durban City are edging closer to completing the signing of veteran defender Thulani Hlatshwayo.
Latest information received by this publication is that the Gavin Hunt-led side is on the verge of completing the signing of Hlatshwayo as a free agent after his contract with SuperSport United (now Siwelele FC) expired last month.
Hunt worked with Tyson when they won the league title at Bidvest Wits before the club was sold and the duo then got another chance to work together when Hunt returned to SuperSport United and this will now mark their third reunion.Â
The 35-year-old played 412 games in his PSL career, scoring 25 goals, and assisting on nine occasions.
His experience could come in handy in the Durban City set-up as they look to secure their top-flight status.Â
