Cape Town City interim head coach Muhsin Ertugral questions Premier Soccer League fixtures after playing back-to-back big ties against Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
Ertugral has questioned the schedule of PSL fixtures after facing Chiefs and Pirates back-to-back and then still travelled to Bloemfontein to face Marumo Gallants.

The Citizens managed to do the unthinkable by beating both Soweto giants 1-0, with Darwin Gonzalez the hero in both fixtures.
City then suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Gallants away from home after conceding a penalty in the first half with Ertugral not pleased with how the fixtures were scheduled.
“I’m not complaining about two games. I’m complaining about Wednesday; I got two teams. I don’t seem sort of any team in this country playing one of the next in three days, teams that really have a pedigree and they’re not a child’s play,” Ertugral told the media.
“We play really a difficult game, and then you need to come three days later. Is there anyone playing from this? Chiefs is not playing; Pirates is not playing. Hello, where are they? So why must we come here to Bloemfontein? Bring a little bit of sensitivity on the fixtures.

“Sorry about that, maybe you will say, No, I’m bitter. No, no, not bitter. You need to protect those boys. Yeah, they are human, so they play three days their heart out and need to come here to play again.
“So how is that going to possible? Then I make a mistake. Maybe I need to change the full squad. Maybe is that the decision that you need to take, and you take high, but you don’t have so many players, we can rotate it so it’s not an excuse. No, you guys will right now. No, no, it’s not an excuse. But I think giving the credit to the boys that has to be done.”
