Former Orlando Pirates forward Augustine Mulenga is not losing hope to return to action with AmaZulu after suffering a serious injury this season.
The 34-year-old has been limited to just one appearance this season after fracturing his leg and has been a major absence as they secured only one win from five league games and were dumped out of the Carling Knockout Cup in the first round.

With nine goals and 16 assists in 64 games for Usuthu over two separate stints, the Zambia international winger is still regarded as one of their key players.
“I know that if I was fine, I could have done something to help the team I’m sure, to achieve each and every goal that we set,” he said.
“I just pray to God to give me strength, and the other thing is that I believe in God, and I have the hope that soon I’ll be back to help the team at some point along the way.

“The coaches have been supportive. They always encourage me not to look down and not to lose hope. Even the guys [teammates] have been supportive since day one.”
Usuthu won their first game of the season before the FIFA International break with a 2-0 win over high-flying Chippa United.
