The Premier Soccer League have announced the three nominees for the Footballer of the Season award.
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Lucas Ribeiro is widely seen as the favourite to lift the accolade after also securing the PSL Golden Boot with 16 goals.
In addition, he also assisted nine more goals as Sundowns secured their eighth successive league title.
Ribeiro is challenged by Relebohile Mofokeng, who despite his young age, had an incredible season for Orlando Pirates. The 20-year-old scored five goals and set up eight more in the league.
Meanwhile, Keletso Makgalwa also had a brilliant season at Sekhukhune United. The former Sundowns forward netted four goals and assisted 11 more – having set up more goals than anyone else in the league.
