Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Njabulo Ngcobo is currently being assessed by Chippa United after parting ways with Sekhukhune United.
Latest information received by iDiski Times is that Ngcobo is training with Chippa in their pre-season in Johannesburg.
The 31-year-old started training with the Chilli Boys on Wednesday with hope that he will impress the club’s new technical team around Sinethemba Badela.
The former Sekhukhune man was named Defender of the Season in 2020/21 after he had a fantastic campaign with Swallows FC, which saw him snapped up by Chiefs.
‘Roadblock’ made 45 appearances in three season for Amakhosi before leaving on a free transfer to join Babina Noko.
But things didn’t workout at Sekhukhune and he only played 470 minutes for the club despite their packed schedule and competing in five competitions.
