Former Cosmos Star Poised For PSL Job

Newly promoted Polokwane City are set to appoint former Jomo Cosmos striker Brice Aka as assistant coach to Phuthi Mohafe.

The Abidjan-born striker arrived in South Africa back in 2008 when he signed with Maritzburg United.

Two years down the line he joined Mpumalanga Black Aces, things didn’t work out and he was loaned out to Bay United for a season.

After the loan spell with Umlilo, things seemed not have worked for him as he became a free agent before joining African Warriors in August 2012.

He retired at Cosmos after serving the club for four seasons.

He was rewarded by the well-known Jomo Sono as the assistant coach of the club for years up until the club got relegated to the ABC Motsepe Foundation.

iDiski Times learnt that Polokwane City is in talks with Aka to rope him in as assistant coach to Mohafe.

City recently parted ways with Lehlohonolo Seema who joined Sekhukhune United.
