Former Platinum Stars head coach Allan Freese is the leading candidate to replace John Maduka at Magesi FC.
As first reported by SABC Sport, Freese could be returning to the dugout with Magesi interested in roping in the veteran coach.
Maduka was suspended by the club and missed the clash against Orlando Pirates which they lost and was absent for the Nedbank Cup clash against Upington City.
Dikwena Tsa Meetse find themselves sitting bottom of the league table with 11 points after 15 games. Abraham Nteo was sitting on the bench this past weekend when they lost to Upington City in the penalty shootout and exited the Nedbank Cup.
The last time they won an official match was back in October 2025 when they beat TS Galaxy 2-1. The aim is to survive relegation.
