Frosler Reflects On Difficult Injury Spell

Kaizer Chiefs full-back Reeve Frosler has spoken about his time on the sidelines saying as tough as it was, on the personal front the timing couldn’t have been better.

Frosler has endured an injury-interrupted season having returned to competitive action in Chiefs’ 4-1 thrashing of Magesi FC in the league in Polokwane last week.

The defender was a second half substitute providing two assists in that game that helped Amakhosi stay in third position on the log. Before this encounter, the last time he played was against Siwelele in October last year.

Frosler also made an appearance from the bench in the goalless draw against Polokwane City over the weekend.

He reflected on the period on the sidelines on the club’s official website where he also shared his joy at enjoying a positive return.

“Being out injured is no fun for any player and I’m no different,” said Frosler.

“It was difficult from that point of view, but turned out to be good timing because my wife and I were expecting our second-born and being at home, I could help her around the house.

“It was a great feeling to get back on the field again, though.”

His Feeling On Contributing

“It always nice to make a contribution,” he further said.

“The good first half performance of the team made it easy for me to come in. We were two goals up already and playing on the front foot.”
