Marumo Gallants and Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-ups for this evening’s DStv Premiership encounter at Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
Struggling Marumo Gallants have a mountain to climb as they face highflying Pirates.
Gallants has been struggling this season and last won a league match in October 2022 against Cape Town City. Bahlabane Baa Ntwaa only managed to collect two points out of possible 21 points in their last seven matches.
Dan Malesela will have to turn things around before shifting their focus to the CAF Confederations Cup group stage in February.
Meanwhile, Pirates have been free-scoring off late after finding the back of the net seven times in their last two games – which coincided with the arrival of striker coach Scott Chickelday.
Their back-to-back wins have kept the hopes of the Buccaneers finishing in the top four alive.
Gallants might be the ones needing the points more than anyone else in the league but this fixture has proven to be a difficult one for them as they never managed to beat Orlando Pirates in a league match.
