Betway Premiership outfit Marumo Gallants have completed the signing of former Baroka FC midfielder Lucky Sekela Sithole until June 2025, with a further two-year option.
Sithole left Bakgaga following the expiration of his contract after he had opted against a stay despite being presented with a new offer.
The 27-year-old played 28 league games for the Lebowakgomo-based outfit last season, netting six goals and providing a further two assists, helping them to qualify for the promotional playoffs where they fell short to Richards Bay who preserved their topflight status.
Sithole had a stellar season at Baroka, with the likes of newly promoted Magesi FC and Sekhukhune United said to have been left impressed with the talented left footer’s displays.
iDiski Times has it on good authority that the former Golden Arrows and SuperSport United attacker has penned a contract until June next year, with a two-year option, and will be under Dan Malesela’s tutelage for the 2024/25 campaign.
The pair worked together during Malesela’s brief spell at Baroka last term.
