Orlando Pirates are in action later this evening as they conclude their pre-season tour of Spain with a tough clash against Qatari giants Al-Sadd at Banùs Football Centre.
Jose Riveiro’s charges have so far played three matches, coming out victorious in one match and playing to draws in the other two fixtures. In their first clash against Wayne Rooney’s English Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle, Pirates played to a 2-2 draw before following that up with a shock 2-0 win over Spanish LALIGA giants Sevilla.
In their last fixture, new signing Gilberto recorded his name on the scoresheet as Pirates rallied back to earn a 1-1 share of the spoils against Granada.
