SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt has revealed that the key to their big win over Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday was them being able to handle turnovers.
Matsatsantsa pulled off a shock 1-0 victory over the Glamour Boys at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane to move eighth on the Betway Premiership standings.
The four-time league winning mentor admitted that not allowing Chiefs to turn them over as well as letting them attack in this match paid dividend for his charges.
“Last week we took the game to them, didn’t we? Hunt said in his post-match presser.

“That first 30 minutes we took the game; we had a go, and we got turned over and I said we can’t be turned over.
“Because they’ve got really, really good players Chiefs. In the front three four, so we did that well tonight.
“I thought that was the key [turning over possession] to the whole game.
“They let the game come to us a little bit. We took the game to them on Saturday and we got hurt.
“It’s a cup game, so let the game come to us a little bit, and I thought we were better.
“We don’t have the quality, but they’ve got, and you know you have to do what you have to do,” Hunt further said.
