Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has made an assertion that they are very much still in the Betway Premiership title race despite dropping valuable points away to Richards Bay.
The Buccaneers had to come back twice to salvage a 2-2 draw for a share of the spoils at Umhlathuze Sports Complex on Friday night.

Thulani Gumede was first to break the deadlock in the 10th minute but the Buccaneers equalized at the resumption of the second period through Oswin Appollis in the 52nd minute.
The Natal Rich Boyz restored parity in the 59th minute via Lindokuhle Zikhali but again Pirates showed fight to make it 2-2 as Lebone Seema unleashed a thunderous shot from range as the points were shared.
Despite dropping two points and now a point behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have played a game less, Ouaddou insisted that they will continue their fight till the end as the title race is far from over.
“I think there is a little bit of disappointment because it’s two points that we lost in this race,” he said on SuperSport TV.
“But the guys fight till the end. Let’s work until the end like I said.
“Lot of people can think it’s over but we don’t think like that. We have to play our game until the end.
“Let’s congratulate the boys with the character because they come back they scored two goals. It’s a positive point but I think we lost two points.”
