Retired former midfield anchor Andile Jali has broken silence on his relationship with tactician Rulani Mokwena during their time at Mamelodi Sundowns.
The pair worked together at Chloorkop with Jali arriving in 2018 from Belgian Jupiler Pro outfit KV Oostende and eventually departing for Moroka Swallows in July 2024.
He then had a brief stint at Chippa United before calling time on his illustrious career having had early success with University of Pretoria and Orlando Pirates.
Speaking on the Arena Sports Show with Clauiee Grace Mpanza, Sizwe Mabena and Mahlatse Mphahlele, “AJ15′ delved into what caused the rift between him and Mokwena’s relationship.
“That one, me and him we had fun, but at the end we didn’t have fun, ” he said.
“Because I saw that he is becoming more a father to a person who is old.
“So, no, I have kids, I have family, I have a wife. No, now he wants to be my father again. No!
“No, you can’t be. Me I want to work, I came here to work.
“You want to tell me what to do? I’m old, and I know what to do, I know what not to do.”
