Kaizer Chiefs Marketing & Commercial Director Jessica Motaung has revealed that the new Amakhosi kit will be released before the Toyota Cup.
Amakhosi announced they will face Asante Kotoko on 26 July at Moses Mabhida Stadium in the second edition of the tournament.
At the launch event, Motaung also confirmed the new kit will be launched in the build-up of the Toyota Cup and will wear both new kits for the first time in the match against Asante Kotoko.
“We’re going to launch the new jersey just prior to the Toyota Cup game, and then we’ll launch it on field, physically with the players wearing it,” Motaung said.
“But I’m very excited about the new jersey, both of them [home and away] are very exciting. I’m looking forward to how supporters receive those.”
