Kaizer Chiefs head coach Cavin Johnson has confirmed Amakhosi still have at least four players sidelined due to medical reasons.
Amakhosi will face Polokwane City in their final home game – a game they have set out to honour Itumeleng Khune for 25 years of services.
But apart from the sentimental value, the match also has high importance on the log, as Chiefs are currently tied with Rise & Shine on 35 points in the battle for eighth place.
However, with six other teams also in the race for a top eight spot, Amakhosi will need a win to not fall behind.
Johnson, though, admitted that four players are still sidelined, in addition to the suspensions of Edmilson Dove, Pule Mmodi and Brandon Petersen.
“We still have we still have Mdantsane out, still have Keegan out, still have Reeve out, we still have Solly out,” he told journalists, without going further into detail
“I think those are on top of my head right now. There could be a few more.”
Chiefs will welcome Polokwane City at FNB Stadium at 15:00 on Saturday before facing Cape Town Spurs in their final match of the season next week.
