Kaze On Dark Arts By Pirates

Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze sarcastically congratulated Orlando Pirates for allegedly applying dark arts in the first 15 minutes of the game.

Chiefs didn’t have a good start in the Soweto derby as they conceded inside five minutes after Tshepang Moremi’s shot from outside the box deflected off Flavio da Silva to beat Bruce Bvuma.

Immediately after the goal, Buccaneers dictated the tempo of the game, and it was played at their pace as they went on to score their second of the match in the 39th minute through Oswin Appollis.

Evidence Makgopa then completed the rout in the 78th minute as Pirates recorded a resounding 3-0 win to move back to the summit of the log.

The win saw Abdeslam Ouaddou’s charges move to 41 points after 18 matches.

Kaze accused Pirates players of wasting time and killing the momentum of the game by going down most of the time.

In his explanation, it was more of dark arts, which is mostly applied by North African teams with Kaze went as far as saying Pirates is experienced in that.

“I have to congratulate Orlando Pirates for the three points, I also have to congratulate them for the tricks that they did in the first 15 minutes,” he told the media.

“Falling down every time, every minute someone is falling down, the keeper falling down.

“Keeper fall down like five times but he didn’t get subbed, I have to congratulate them for that because it’s experience after that the game slipped out of our hands.

“The opponents deserve the three points today.”
