Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has pointed out what disappointed him during their match against Durban City over the past weekend.
Amakhosi ended a four-match losing streak with a 1–0 victory over the Citizens in the Betway Premiership at FNB Stadium, thanks to a goal from Glody Lilepo.
Chiefs now sit fifth on the table with 33 points from 19 matches, just one point off third place as they push to return to continental football.
Despite the win, Kaze admitted he was unhappy with how his side repeatedly lost possession in dangerous areas, allowing the opposition opportunities to threaten.
He said it is something the team must address and manage better ahead of upcoming matches.
“I’m not happy with the last minutes of the game. We conceded a lot of situations to the opponent where we lost the balls too easily in transitions,” said Kaze.
“It’s something that we have to work on and improve to control the game better when we are winning.”
Chiefs return to action on Saturday, 21 March at 18:00when they take on Magesi FC at Moses Mabhida Stadium, looking to move further up the Betway Premiership standings.
