Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Karim Kimvuidi has secured a permanent move to Israeli side Hapoel Petah Tikva.

Kimvuidi spent the last season on loan at Ashdod SC in Israel with the Congolese making 25 appearances for the Israeli side, scoring four goals, and contributed two assists.

His numbers might have been decent, but he couldn’t help Ashdod avoid relegation, as they finished seventh in the Israeli Premier League relegation group.

After Ashdod’s relegation was confirmed and Pirates confirmed the exit of Kimvuidi, Hapoel Petah Tikva moved urgently to secure the 24-year-old’s signature on a two-year contract.

H Petach-Tikva finished in sixth place in the Israeli Premier League Championship round which confirmed that they will be playing in the elite league of Israel in 2026/27 season.
