Kaizer Chiefs players will report back for pre-season on Friday, 20 June ahead of their trip to Netherlands in early July.
The break is over for Chiefs players, as they will return to camp tomorrow and start the preparations for the upcoming season 2025/26.
Head coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to lead the side after the club decided that he will continue as the head coach of the club despite rumours that he will leave.
Amakhosi are in the process of revamping their squad with Ranga Chivaviro, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove and Njabulo Blom confirmed to have left Naturena.
There are still more players that could leave the club, with Mduduzi Mdantsane, Fiacre Ntwari, George Matlou and Edson Castillo rumored to be close to exit door.
Chiefs are yet to confirm any of their new signings, but former Orlando Pirates duo Thabiso Monyane and Paseka Mako are understood to have joined the side.
Rushwin Dortley, who didn’t finish the season due to an injury, is slowly stepping up his recovery and rehabilitation process. The Bafana Bafana defender is expected to be part of Chiefs squad that will travel to Netherlands.
The pre-season process is expected to begin with medicals before doing anything else physical and football related. Some players are expected to only report back on Monday.
Earlier Amakhosi confirmed they will be traveling to the Netherlands for a pre-season camp between 3 and 19 July.
