The 2024/25 Premier Soccer League Awards ceremony could once again be hosted virtually for the fifth straight season.
This week, the PSL announced nominees for all 2024/25 awards categories including three new categories – the Motsepe Foundation Championship Players’ Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season (U19) and Goalkeeper of the Season.
Information received by iDiski Times is that the PSL awards ceremony will once again go virtual this season and will take place on 29 July which is a week before the 2025/26 season gets underway with the MTN8 competition.Â
The awards started to go virtual during the COVID-19 period which started in March 2020 and have since not gone back to its original formality.
Mamelodi Sundowns are once again expected to dominate the proceedings after claiming an unprecedented eighth consecutive Betway Premiership crown, but the likes of Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will also be in the mix after both claimed silverware in the last term.
