Kaizer Chiefs fan favourite Glody Lilepo has accepted the nickname “Lollipop” given to him by the club’s fans.
The 27-year-old attacker became an instant hit at the Naturena-based outfit since been snapped up from Valenciennes FC in France during the January transfer window.

Lilepo scored six goals with a single assist in 19 outings across competitions to finish the season as the club’s top goalscorer as well as capturing the Nedbank Cup.
“I didn’t know, but when I googled it, I found out they call me Lollipop. I know it means sweets,” he told the club’s YouTube page.
“It’s a good song [Lollipop song]. They should keep singing.
“I’ll make effort to score more goals for you.”
