New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Thembinkosi Lorch has sent a message to the club’s supporters after his move from Orlando Pirates to Chloorkop.
Sundowns completed Lorch’s surprise signing on deadline after he had six months left on his contract with the Buccaneers.
The 30-year-old arrived in a team of Sundowns that has dominated South African football for almost a decade now, but added four players in the January transfer window.
With Downs running away with the DStv Premiership title again, it’s a known secret that the CAF Champions League is the trophy they desperatetly want, which would also secure their qualification for the extended FIFA Club World Cup.
Lorch has promised Downs supporters that he will do his best to help the club to add more silverware.
“I promise them that they are going to enjoy my football,” Lorch told Sundown’s Magazine.
“I will do my best for us to win more and add to what the team has already achieved this season and the previous ones.
“Your support means everything, and I am committed to giving my all for the team and our loyal Sandawana supporters.”
