Magesi FC and Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-ups for their Betway Premiership encounter at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium this evening.
Relegation-threatened Magesi are facing a highly motivated Pirates team this evening, with Dikwena tsa metsi finding themselves in 16th place with 21 points after 27 games. The Limpopo-based side won two games, lost five, and drew three in their last 10 games.
Anything less than a win wouldn’t be enough for Allen Freese’s side, as they would still remain under threat of relegation.
Meanwhile, league challengers Pirates can settle for nothing less than three points today. The Buccaneers are sitting in second place with 62 points after 27 games, which is the highest number of points Pirates have ever achieved in the league.
A win for the Buccaneers would see them getting closer to ending their 14-year wait for the league title.
In their last three league games, Pirates won two and one match ended in a draw. Magesi haven’t managed to get maximum points against the Buccaneers, with the Sea Robbers winning four out of their five clashes.
Here is how they line up:
Magesi XI: Tshabalala, Seseane, Makgoga, Mofokeng, Muvhango, Majola, Magaqa, Mahlasela, Mokone, Mosadi, Buthelezi.
