Limpopo-based Betway Premiership side Magesi FC are on the verge of signing Cape Town City defender Tshegofatso Nyama.
This publication can confirm that Magesi are on the verge of completing the signing of Nyama, with talks between the two teams in final stages, while personal terms wouldn’t be an issue.
Nyama joined CTC in July 2023 from TS Galaxy, initially playing as a left winger before he was converted to a left-back by Eric Tinkler.
After CTC got relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship and appointed new coach Jan Vreman, Nyama struggled of game-time with Bokang Talile and Sifiso Ngobeni preferred left-backs by the head coach.
Nyama’s move to Magesi is seen as a win-win that will benefit both the player and the club, with Dikwena tša Meetse currently sitting at the bottom of the Betway Premiership.
The transfer window is set to close later tonight and Magesi are pushing hard to land the utility player.
