Former Richards Bay FC goalkeeper Salim Magoola has completed a move to Durban City FC, months after parting ways with the Natal Rich Boyz.
The Ugandan shot-stopper joins on a free transfer following a four-season stint at Richards Bay, whom he joined in 2022 from Pretoria Callies.
“Durban City FC is pleased to announce the signing of Ugandan international goalkeeper, Salim Magoola,” Durban City announced on social media.
Magoola’s departure from the Jomo Biyela-owned outfit followed a prolonged spell on the sidelines, with Ian Otieno emerging as the preferred choice between the posts.
During his time at Richards Bay, the Ugandan goalkeeper made 85 appearances, conceding 80 goals while recording 35 clean sheets.
