Sekhukhune United winger Keletso Makgalwa has opened up about his pact with striker Bradley Grobler saying he is confident of meeting his personal target with the latter by his side.
Makgalwa who was the star for Babina Noko last season with six goals and 11 assists, made an agreement with the veteran forward that he wants to have 20 assists this season and Grobler agreed to help him. Their attack partnership has helped the Limpopo side enjoy an impressive start to the campaign where they have accumulated 20 points in nine matches.
Sekhukhune are currently in second place on the log just a point behind Mamelodi Sundowns who have played a game more. The 28-year-old told iDiski Times journalist Lethabo Kganyago in edition 225 of the newspaper how excited he was about the prospects of the season once Grobler’s signing to the club was confirmed.
“For me, I know Brad, I know ‘Sniper’,” Makgalwa told iDiski Times.
“I was at home when they announced Bradley, and I told my parents that this season I’m sure I’m going to have 20 plus assists, and it’s possible with Bradley.
“And I spoke to him also, and I told him that this season I want 20 assists, and he told me straight that I’m going to help you to achieve that.
“And so far, so good. I’m on five at the moment, so 15 left, and he’s on six goals, so 20 is possible this season.”
