Ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielders George Maluleka and Hlompho Kekana have predicted that their former side will come out victors again Orlando Pirates this weekend.
The Sundowns and Pirates clash at Loftus Versfeld Stadium is already a sold-out affair which promises to be a blockbuster this coming Saturday after these two sides already faced each other in the MTN8 semi-final where both legs ended in 1-1 draw which Pirates then won on penalties.
Sundowns have lost only one league game this season which was against Golden Arrows. Meanwhile, Buccaneers lost two and that was at the beginning of the season against Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants.
Betway Premiership had a press conference on Thursday where they hosted brand ambassadors Maluleka and Kekana. The two former Sundowns midfielders predicted a win for Downs against Pirates.
“Very difficult encounter I must say but with Sundowns being the home team I think they gonna walk away with three points,” Maluleka told the media.
“Their fans are gonna be behind them and they just came from the positive results.
“The mandate is to get the three points on Saturday,” Kekana added.
