Football administrator Morgan Mammila is on the verge of returning to the dugout at Chippa United after the chaos in the club’s technical team.
It looked like a new dawn at Chippa, putting together young football brains in Sinesipho Mali and Sinethemba Badela but it seems the honeymoon ended before it even started.
The duo was seen as the ones who could revive Eastern Cape football, and the excitement from football supporters was extreme, but all that already went down the drain, as Sinethemba Badela has seemingly stepped aside after just two games into the season.
Latest information received by this publication states that Mammila could return to the dugout as assistant coach to Musa Nyatama ahead of the TS Galaxy clash at Buffalo City Stadium.
The former Baroka head coach was involved in the last Chili Boys’ training sessions, something that was not happening at the beginning of the season.
Mammila has been serving the Chilli Boys in different roles, as sporting director, head coach, and assistant coach. He is familiar with almost every corner of the club.
