Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi has given his views on Khuliso Mudau after he made his returns to the playing field in Saturday’s win over Kaizer Chiefs.
Mudau came on as a substitute in the second half and was key in helping Sundowns hold on for their 2-1 victory.
He, and Teboho Mokoena, have been notably absent from Sundowns’ team in their last few games.
“Ja, no, man, it was nice to have Mudau back,” Mngqithi told the media after the game.
“Like I said, even before, they are still going to come back and help us a lot, and I think today was the right time to bring him, and he did very well.
“He proved the quality that he has no doubt defensively he is one of the best players you can ever have.
“In one against one, I think, he is in a class of his own, and it was pleasing to see him perform the way he has performed today, and I was very happy.”
