Mamelodi Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi has revealed he told Kutlwano Lethlaku that he would score a brace ahead of his two-goal show against Polokwane City.
Masandawana were out for revenge after losing to the same opponents 1-0 just two weeks ago, but a heavy-rotated squad mastered the task.

Lethlaku, 18, came up with a Man of the Match performance, scoring both goals in the 2-0 win which saw Sundowns close the gap on Orlando Pirates to just three points.
After the match, Mngqithi opened up his pre-match talk with the teenager, who grabbed his opportunity with both hands.
“It’s strange, sometimes in football we look like soothsayers,” Mngqithi said on SuperSport TV.

“Because i told him that he would score two today because I had that feeling.
“In that side that has [Tlou] Nkwe and [Lebohang] Nkaki, it’s going to be something that can open for us if we have got somebody dynamic.
“I could’ve gone for a more established player, but I thought we need somebody who is just willing to take risks.
“First half he could’ve maybe taken three shots but because he’s a young boy, he’s got respect, he only opened after scoring the first goal.
“But I was impressed with both Sales and Kutlwano in that space, and the hard work that Peter [Shalulile] put for the defenders of Polokwane City not to have time.
“Because they are very dangerous when they are given space because they are delivering the long balls to [Hlayisi] Chauke and [Thabang] Matulidi and it causes a lot of problems for you, but I think peter handled it very well.”
