Cape Town Spurs head coach Ernst Middendorp was coy about his future at the relegated club, though suggested that many of his players should have suitors out there for next season.
Spurs beat Kaizer Chiefs 2-0 in their final game of the DStv Premiership season, but their fate had already been sealed weeks earlier.
Whether Middendorp will stay with the club in the Motsepe Foundation Championship is yet to be confirmed, and the German said it will be discussed at a later point.
But he did suggest that if he were at other clubs, he would snap up many of Spurs’ players for next season.

Brown’s Future With Spurs Uncertain
“I have no idea actually,” Middendorp replied on his future.
“I said ‘let’s really concentrate and focus to the games we played now’, including today, and I will definitely need six or seven days, probably just to sleep and not to do anything in this direction.
“We will talk, we will look into it, what’s possible and which I think there’s a lot of silverware inside the house.
“Of course, we have to see who’s coming. A lot of teams have been already knocking on the door regarding players. If I would be on the other side, a team coaching, I would go for Asanele [Velebayi], I would go for [Ashley] Cupido, I would go for Liam [Bern], I would go for Siviwe [Nkwali], I would go for Rushwin [Dortley].
“Ja, we have some other what I saw last night, 17, 18 years old, I would take definitely eight to 10 players.”
With Middendorp’s history of short stints at clubs, it’s unclear if he will consider options or stay at the Urban Warriors and look to help them gain automatic promotion back into the DStv Premiership next season.
