Cape Town Spurs head coach Ernst Middendorp has given an insight on the upcoming window transfer as he looks to save the club from relegation.
The Cape Town-based club signed a few players after gaining promotion, including Keagan Buchanan, and Siyanda Msani while Surprise Ralani and Nicholas Lukhubeni later joined them.
Despite having made those signings, Spurs hasn’t had a start they would be proud of and they feel like they need to go more on the market come summer transfer window in January.
Middendorp emphasized that they will look to bring in some players, there have been talks with Rafiq de Goede since being the first addition for the mid-season window.
“We’re talking about. We communicate a lot; we try to contact the network from different directions. But to promise now to put something already in place and make it public, I think that’s not the right timing,” Middendorp told iDiski Times.
“It is the second part of the work we have to do at the moment probably to get some help, some support with really some players who are coming out of the peak performance level and let’s wait and see what we can do.”
