Orlando Pirates winger Relebohile Mofokeng admits that he has enjoyed a good season, however he can do better as far scoring is concerned.
The 20-year-old was named Man of the Match in his side’s last league match of the season – a 1-1 draw with Magesi FC in Orlando on Wednesday evening.
Pirates finished the campaign in second position for a third time in as many seasons with 61 points and the club’s record number of wins.
The South African international has been key in the Buccaneers ‘attack this term in all competitions and has 12 goals, five in the Betway Premiership and 15 assists, eight in the league. Mofokeng says going into the next season he’ll work on his scoring.
“It has been a very long season because we have played in CAF, then the Nedbank and we are not used to playing these many games,” said Mofokeng on SuperSport TV.
“I think we did well and next season we should do better than this season. I think I have performed well this season, so I just have to continue and improve and work for my team more than this.
“The area I can improve on is scoring because that’s the only thing missing from my game. I can create and assist just missing the scoring. I think I’ll practice more.”
