Mohafe On Ramabu Injury Update

Polokwane City head coach Phuti Mohafe provided an injury update on Mokibelo Ramabu after he left the pitch limping against Stellenbosch FC.

Ramabu played every game for Polokwane this season scoring two goals which were both in the Betway Premiership. The 23-year-old is one of the key players in Mohafe’s team and was hauled of in the 74th minute against Stellies after sustaining an injury.

After the final whistle, he was carried by one of his teammates to the dressing room and it didn’t look good.

With AFCON fast approaching, Ramabu might have enough time to recover but Mohafe didn’t want to get ahead of himself as he stated that they will wait for their medical team.

“I think there’s three players who went out limping, but I think Ramabu came out the worst,” he told the media.

“But it’s an ankle whereby he was twisted. They stepped on the very same ankle that was twisted, so it’s not that bad, but the way it is we will see and hear from the medical team on what they’re saying about him.”
