Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker Themba Zwane says he will play professionally for as long as he has the strength to and will be first to know when it’s time to hang up his boots.
‘Mshishi’ has been one of the most consistent players for club and country but recently endured an injury-ravaged campaign as he spent more time in recovery than on the pitch. Last October, Zwane got injured while on international duty with Bafana Bafana and was side-lined for several months.

He then suffered another knock on his thigh during the MTN8 campaign but managed to get back to fitness before suffering another setback against Magesi FC in September.
The 36-year-old told iDiski Times senior journalist Lorenz Köhler that he will keep pushing on and the strength God grants him.
“To be honest, I will say, as long as God gives me strength, I will still be there in the field and push myself,” Zwane told iDiski Times.
“But when the time is right, I will also raise my hands and say, ‘Now it’s time’.”
