Muhsin Applauds Match Officials Despite City’s Poor Form 

Cape Town City head coach Muhsin Ertugral applauded match officials despite a poor run of results. 

Ertugral’s find themselves in difficult times after suffering their fourth straight league loss and dropping to 10th place in the table. 

With some teams as well as certain sections of the fans complaining about match officials, Ertugral stood up and applauded the two referees who officiated City’s clash with Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu. 

Michael Mosemeng officiated Sunday’s game between Usuthu and City while Ertugral also praised the groundsman of King Zwelithini Stadium. 

“The guys who have done this field, they must be really congratulated,” the Turkish mentor told the media.

“Yesterday, there was another PSL game here, and after all this rain. I think this is one of the best pitches in the country, and we must be thankful to those guys that worked on that, this is fantastic.

“For me, this season, what we’ve had on referees, in the Sekhukhune game, we had a great referee, this one here, I must also say, fantastic from the first minute may opinion very fair, balanced on both sides.

“We have experienced some different issues, but I found this referee today, I must say it is a fantastic performance in my opinion.”
