Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi explained that Glody Lilepo’s role against Mamelodi Sundowns was both in attack and defence.
Lilepo seemed to have played a slightly different role when Chiefs lost 1-0 to the runaway league leaders over the weekend.
The DRC international seemed to have been more of an inside winger and played more defensively.
Nabi explained the new role Lilepo played, why they opted to play like that, and which roles were given to him. Lilepo didn’t have many moments going forward, except one moment where he took on Sundowns defender Lucas Suarez.

“About Lilepo, he is usually a winger, but today he had a different role defensively and offensively,” Nabi said after the match.
“Sometimes to be a striker, sometimes to be a winger for the plan of the game.”
