Nabi – I Don’t Want To Throw My Players Under The Bus But…

Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has again called for new signings after his side’s 1-0 loss to Cape Town City in the mother city.

Chiefs suffered their fourth defeat of the season and remained seventh in the Betway Premiership.

The Amakhosi technical team, led by Nabi, has been speaking out loud about strengthening the squad this transfer window.

With the January window officially open until the 28th, Nabi confirmed that the team are working very hard behind the scenes to improve the squad, but also insisted he doesn’t want to throw his current players under the bus.

“It’s obvious when you look at the squad that we feel that there is a need to strengthen the team, but we don’t want to throw our players under the bus saying that they are not good,” Nabi told the media.

“No, they are good. Today they are in our squad, they are in our team but every transfer window we will take the opportunity to try to strengthen the team.

“The club is working hard to find the best opportunities that are possible, and we hope that everything can improve our squad.”
