Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has admitted his side had issues on their left side against SuperSport United.
Nabi had opted to start Bradley Cross over Happy Mashiane after the exit of Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, but the former Golden Arrows defender struggled.
Both of Matsatsantsa’s first two goals were via Cross’ side, with SuperSport outsmarting Chiefs via smart pressing and clinical wing-play.
After the match Nabi admitted to his side’s faults on the left, without mentioning any names, but insisted they have options to rectify the situation.
“Yes, definitely. We were lacking today on the left side,” he stated.
“But it’s a lesson learnt for us. We’ve got a few players, who are getting ready to get back to the game.

“And also we can make a few changes with the players in order to redeem ourselves on the left side.”
With Chiefs not back in action until 1 March when they will face Mamelodi Sundowns, Nabi confirmed his side will try to play some friendly matches.
“Yes, we will give our players some time off and also try if possible to arrange a friendly game to also allow us to see how other players come into the game and for us to see if they are ready to come.”
