Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi is pleading for patience from the club’s fans and equally promised that they will finish higher that eighth place.
Chiefs find themselves sitting in the eighth spot after suffering back-to-back defeats against SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively which has now seen them win just seven out of 19 league matches they have played, losing eight, and drawing four.
Nabi apologised to Chiefs faithful and promised them that this situation is temporary and that they will finish in a higher place than where they are at the end of the season.
“I would like to pass the message to the fans first of all to apologise to them for the log standing where we are right now which doesn’t really reflect the performances that we have been having,” Nabi said in his post-match presser.
“We working very hard and we assure that the standings that they were seeing today it’s a temporary thing and we are pretty sure that we will finish league higher up than were we are right now.

“We are feeling the improvement of the players in these big games, the character, the mentality and the mindset that they have in these big games.
“We feel like only small things could have made the difference in those kinds of big games that we have played. We are aware of that, and we are working on it; don’t panic.”
Chiefs next face Magesi FC at FNB Stadium on Tuesday, 4 March.
