Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi highly praised his fitness coach Safi Majdi after playing three games in just six days.
Nabi was clear when he agreed to join Chiefs at the beginning of the season, insisting on his technical team, and he was granted his wish.
Chiefs faced Pirates in a high-intensity game which they lost 1-0 last Saturday. Three days later, they battled with AmaZulu in an entertaining 2-2 draw, while they traveled to Cape Town to face Stellenbosch another three days later.
After his side’s 1-0 win over Stellenbosch, Nabi gave credit to Majdi, stating that this is the reason he wanted to work with his own technical team, they are competent people and hard workers with experience.
“My congratulations and credit goes to our fitness coach Safi Majdi,” he stated.
“He is a very competent fitness coach, he has been in big clubs, Wydad, Tunisia national team and we knew that his work is fantastic even during the week we were all relaxed because he told us the process of three games in six days.
“That’s why at the beginning of the season I insisted to bring my own staff because I know that it’s people that are competent, it’s people that work very hard and we are in this together and we hope that we gonna do more.”
