Former Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange is set to join Betway Premiership outfit Marumo Gallants.
The 32-year-old signed a two-year contract with Matsatsantsa at the beginning of the 2023/24 season after he left Chiefs. After making 17 appearances in all competitions for the Tshwane outfit, Nange’s contract was terminated with a year still to run on it.
He has been training with Gallants since leaving SSU under the watchful eye of Dylan Kerr who then left the club and was replaced by Dan Malesela.
Information received states that Bahlabane Ba Ntwaa are close to agreeing a deal with Nange, with just finer details to be ironed out. Gallants are expected to make a lot of announcements on new players before the season kicks off.
Gallants will face Chiefs on September 14 in their opening game of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership campaign at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein.
