Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has branded their Betway Premiership clash against Polokwane City as another cup final as they look to further close the gap on run-away league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Buccaneers are playing catch-up and currently find themselves 15 points behind the defending champions but could narrow that gap to 12 should they pick up maximum points at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Saturday afternoon.

Ncikazi emphasized the importance of making sure they return from Limpopo with three points as they try and make sure they achieve the same objectives across all the competitions they’re involved in.
“There’s no physical preparation that one can engage the team with,” Ncikazi told Bucs media.
“Only analysis, another cup final for our team as usual and the only language that will be understood is three points.

“That’s the language that we can promise and try and deliver to our team. It’s blessings and burdens. Pirates is involved in every competition.
“We must try and manage and try and compete in every competition that we’re involved in. That’s the nature of the team one works for.”
