Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has outlined the aggressiveness they will encounter when they take on Richards Bay this evening.
The Buccaneers welcome Richards Bay for a Betway Premiership clash at the Orlando Amstel Arena with the prime purpose of collecting maximum points and moving back to the top.
After Mamelodi Sundowns swept aside ORBIT College 2-0 at Olympia Park on Tuesday evening, Abdeslam Ouaddou’s charges know that nothing less than a win will matter against the improved Natal Rich Boyz.
The KwaZulu-Natal outfit pulled off a shock 1-0 win over Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs to sit just one point on the brink of a top eight spot.
Ncikazi notes that the visitors will pose danger especially when it comes to their aggressiveness, but his side is fully focused on coming away with a win at home.
“We are facing another tough opponent; very aggressive in their press,” he told OP TV.
Äggressive in counter-pressing, lots of pairing in the central corridors.
“We are playing in our stadium, in front of our supporters and we are just in competition to get three points.
“And if the plan goes according to what we preparing for, we should get the three points.”
The clash gets underway at 19:30.
