Ndamane – I Didn’t Come Here To Relax

Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane says he joined the club to work his socks off and earn a regular place in the team.

Ndamane signed for the Brazilians at the beginning of the season but remained at TS Galaxy on a six-month loan, before joining his parent club, Sundowns, during the January transfer window.

He has made four appearances — three in the CAF Champions League and one in the Betway Premiership — starting in all of them.

Speaking to journalists, he said he knew there was quality at Sundowns and was not expecting much playing time this early.

“Obviously, I didn’t expect to arrive here and just get game time but also I didn’t come here to relax,” said Ndamane.

“I knew there were quality players here and I had to give my all and everything would fall into place.”

On his good partnership with Grant Kekana, he said, “Grant is a cool guy, it feels good to play with him.

“We help each other, I think we communicate very well together.”
