“They must focus on their game because we’ve talked to them a lot of things will come and then the people will start phoning them and then asking a lot of questions,” said Nteo.
“So, we said to them they must focus on their game and then other things they leave it to management or other people that are responsible for that. But them they have to perform in the game and come to training, perform in training and performing the game. So, we tried to make sure that they focus on their game.
“They understand some of them. I was talking to one or two of them, even the captain our goalkeeper [Elvis] Chipezeze he knows the situation. And he told me that last season, they managed to come out from the situation in terms of how we apply ourselves in terms of the games, and we take games, one game at a time.
“And again, to motivate these boys to say they can do it because they did it last season even though we didn’t want to find ourselves in this situation. But we are in that situation for now. So he motivates them and then make sure that they focus because it’s only about one game, and then focus on that game and win the game. The most important thing is to win the game because if you want to come out of there you have to win your games.”
