Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefe Ntseki has confirmed the availability of Ranga Chivaviro and Mozambican international Edmilson Dove.
Chivaviro last played an official match against TS Galaxy in a 1-0 loss for Amakhosi. The former Marumo Gallants forward had to be taken off just after 29 minutes and missed the club’s last three games.
Meanwhile, Dove is yet to play for Chiefs this season after sustaining an injury during the pre-season. The 29-year old was named in the Mozambican squad that recently qualified for African Cup Of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire, but was an unused substitute in the 3-2 win over Benin.
Ntseki was pleased to have both players back and mentioned that he expects a clean bill of health in the coming weeks, as they look to to move up the table.
“A few players who were injured have started training with us again, which is a plus. We also welcome Ranga Chivaviro back into the team,” Ntseki told Chiefs media.
“We have a very strong squad. Maybe in the next two weeks or so, we will have everybody back, which will give us a very good selection headache regarding the quality of players we want in the team.
“We also have Edmilson Dove back in the team after a three-week layoff due to injury. So, everything looks good, everything looks positive for us.”
The match kicks off at 17:30 at FNB Stadium on Saturday, with Chiefs potentially having a chance to jump into second place, if they beat Royal AM and Golden Arrows lose to Stellenbosch.
